Mercedes-Benz has recently gone  the Hollywood way in promoting their cars and products.  Several models star alongside Bruce Willis in the iconic Die Hard franchise, titled ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’.

Bruce Willis aside, there are 14 different Mercedes cars in the film featuring spectacular car chase sequences through the streets of Moscow, where most of the film has been shot. If you’re a car-lover, and especially fond of Mercedes-Benz, then three models in particular enjoy starring roles, which include the G-Class, Sprinter and C-Class. But if those aren’t enough for you, the Unimog, Zetros, E-Class, G AMG 63, GL-Class, Vito and Maybach 57 have cameos in the movie as well as at a Mercedes-Benz dealer.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a five-passenger SUV offered in a single G550 trim that comes fully loaded with many of the luxury and technology items found in modern Mercedes. The G550 is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 generating 382 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted through a seven-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel-drive system with lockable front, center and rear differentials. In the middle, the C300 4Matic models get their motivation from a new 248-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 and are again offered with a seven-speed automatic. A 302-hp version of this same smooth 3.5-liter engine, making 273 pound-feet of torque is installed in C350 models.

Finally, the Sprinter 2500 comes in two wheelbases, two roof heights and three body lengths for class-leading versatility. Available as a Cargo Van, a Crew Van, and a Passenger Van the Sprinter is powered by a 188-hp 3.0-litre V6 BlueTec turbodiesel engine for fuel efficiency and coordinated with a five-speed automatic transmission.
